Application of policy

This policy is issued to a person appointed as a STIHL dealer (Dealer) under a STIHL Dealer Agreement and under the terms of that STIHL Dealer Agreement. A Dealer is required to comply with the guidelines and policies specified by STIHL from time to time. This policy is in addition to the terms in the Dealer Agreement between the Dealer and STIHL.

STIHL Global B2B Site

Access to the STIHL Global B2B web site (Global B2B site) is provided to the Dealer and any single individual authorised to access the Global B2B Site on behalf of the Dealer (Authorised Person) for the sole purpose of conducting the business of a STIHL dealership in accordance with the Dealer Agreement and for no other purpose. The Dealer is fully responsible for all access to and usage of the Global B2B Site using access codes issued to or on behalf of the Dealer.
It is intended that the Dealer will be able to access the Global B2B Site at anytime. However there may be times when the Global B2B Site is unavailable and the Dealer will be responsible for any consequences arising from the Dealers inability to access or use the Global B2B Site.

Access Codes

STIHL will issue an access code to the Dealer. The Dealer may issue additional access codes to an Authorised Person.

It is the responsibility of the Dealer to keep, and to ensure that any Authorised Person keeps, the access code(s) issued by STIHL confidential and secret. Under no circumstances should an access code be disclosed to any person, other than the person to whom it is issued, for any purpose.
The Dealer must implement and maintain security measures designed to prevent unauthorised access to the Global B2B Site. The Dealer must cancel or change any access code that has been or may reasonably be suspected or having been compromised and must immediately notify STIHL of such suspected compromise.
